Everyone in the SEO world knows that Google and Matt Cutts look down on paid links.

But why is it OK to buy paid blog post reviews?

I buy paid blogposts off ReviewMe and PayPerPost all the time, but mainly just to get the backlinks. What makes blogposts different from paid links?

Just to chime in and expand on Adam’s comment: Google wants to do a good job of detecting paid links. Paid links that affect search engines (whether paid text links or a paid review) can cause a site to lose trust in Google.
