Black Hat Trick to Get Traffic off Torrents

yinbt.PNG

The black hat torrent trick can be used within minutes of reading how to use it. All the webmaster has to do is download a file from a torrent, that has been downloaded a lot, or a file that you think would be a popular download. Just stay away from anything copyrighted that is illegal to share! Make sure that the file that you find a download is related with your website in one way or the other.

After you have downloaded the file from the torrent change over the read-me file into a HTML file. One of the common known facts about downloaded files is that the read-me file is always opened and because of this fact you can see how this trick will give you tons of traffic. Here goes an example, so that you understand completely what type of file you should download for promotion of your website.

For example, lets say you run a Linux forum and you want to drive traffic to your site. All you would need to do is seed some Linux distributions that have your readme.html file inside the package. When people download the file, they will open your readme.html. You can do whatever you want with this readme.html file. You can redirect it to your core site or fill up the page with PPC ads.

Or maybe you have a celebrity site with hot pics of Britney Spears? You could upload a hot video of Brit with your readme file in it, and spread it on torrent sites. If you are creative enough, there are tons of things you can do with this trick.

The reason this traffic works so well because you only have to be online for so long before other people have downloaded your file and after that you no longer have to be on the torrent site for your file to be downloaded. The people at downloaded your torrent file are not only potential traffic they are also called “seeders”. The reason that these people are called seeders is because now you don’t have to be on the torrent for your file to be downloaded by another torrent member. This has endless possibilities and can get your readme file which is also a pop up in traffic to your webpage past through 10 different torrent communities without sucking down your bandwidth.

Now you’re all set to start getting massive amounts of traffic from the torrents today, so don’t let those white hat SEOs push you around, use this trick to get more traffic than you ever had in mere days.

Here are some torrents or you could use it on:

Free Targeted Traffic From Yahoo Answers

Let’s face it. Yahoo sucks. I get only a light trickle of traffic from them compared to the avalanche of traffic I get from Google.

BUT, one thing I’ve discovered is that Yahoo Answers actually delivers more visitors AND higher quality traffic (low bounce rates).

yin.PNG

To get traffic form Yahoo Answers, just get out there and answer questions about topics in your niche.

Example: For this example we will pretend that you have a website on Search Engine Optimization. Search for Search Engine Optimization questions here is a sample question and answer:

Yahoo Question: I am looking to increase my internet traffic? I have tried many things but none of them have worked out. Please help me!!

Your Answer: It was hard for me to find ways to increase my traffic, there are instructions on how to increase your web traffic at http://www.damndomainer.com (you must have the http:// in the URL for it to be clickable inside of Yahoo Answers).

This is not only directly answering a question, this is getting a visitor who needs the webmasters website to help them. Yahoo Answers has a very low bounce rate in comparison to the Google Search Engine. When you look at the stats below you will see, not only this giving the webmaster one back link on Yahoo Answers.com. This one back link is then turned into twenty six backlinks over the twenty six different Yahoo Answer severs.

This kind of tactic, which is Yahoo Answers Questions floods in the traffic. I only answer 2-4 questions twice a day is what I have been doing and look at the stats that come from it. This unique traffic gaining tip doesn’t only give the webmaster traffic, this also promotes the webmasters site inside of the Yahoo Search Engine. With twenty six backlinks per post, and great traffic there is no reason not to use this technique. This is not qualified as spamming, and Yahoo Answers is perfectly fine with this.

The stats show all of the webmasters out there that the traffic is real, and notice the date too as this is only two weeks of answering questions on Yahoo Answers. This is one smart way to gain much backlinks and traffic, not many webmaster techniques can promise this kind of return. Make sure to take advantage now , and let me know by posting up your stats how this Yahoo Answers tip has helped your website.

Grey Hat SEO Tip to Game YouTube

YOUTUBE SEO YouTube captures about 14% of daily Internet traffic. Wouldn’t it be nice to grab a piece of the action? Here is a grey-hat trick to gaming YouTube’s “Top Viewed” and “Most Popular” section.

Step 1 - Make a YouTube Video
First off, the webmaster needs to make a video, that is also an ad for a website of their choice. The recommended software to use would be NERO which is a video making software. Make sure that there is no sound in this video at all, because this can interfere with Step 3.

Step 2 - Upload the Video
Upload the ad video to the YouTube. As many webmasters know this can take a large amount of time, so depending on length of the video the webmaster have produced. The webmaster will want to estimate then wait of uploading their YouTube video to around ten to fifty minutes wait time when uploading the webmasters ad video to YouTube.

Step 3 - Cloak the Video in an iFrame on a High Traffic Site
For this step, and for this trick to work, the webmaster need a high traffic website, almost every webmaster has one high traffic website in their control. What the webmaster does after the video ad is uploaded is imbed a zero by zero iFrame into the bottom of the webmasters high traffic website, then embed the webmasters YouTube Code into that invisible window on the bottom of the webmasters website this is what will increase the webmasters views because YouTube sees every impressions as a video view.

Step 4: Make Sure Everything Works
Make sure that the webmasters YouTube video is invisible. Check to make sure that the webmasters “views” on the webmasters ad YouTube video are increasing in number. Now all the webmaster has to do at this point is wait. Depending on what “high traffic” website the webmaster have, this can sky rocket the webmasters ad to the top of YouTube’s viewed list.

Step 5 - Build-Up Your YouTube “Honors”
An honor is something that the webmaster can be given for views comments and other records. After performing this the webmasters video will be placed in the top viewed this week and this month. This is only going to give the webmaster around 3 “Honors” , which will put the webmasters video ad on three separate top pages of YouTube. One way for the webmaster to get more honors is by chatting with other friends back and forth about the ad video by commenting through YouTube. This will give the webmaster the “most commented” honor which will put the webmaster on another front page of YouTube.

This will increase the webmasters traffic by thousands of unique page visitors a day. Totally free advertising rarely comes around in the webmaster world. But with this traffic generating advice any webmaster will start to see tons more traffic to his or her website.

SnapNames Victory #2!

Just picked up another mortgage themed .NET domain for $450 off SnapNames!

The domain is long and lacks “brandable” value, but it IS a Keyword Matched domain, and I intend to develop it to get all the SEO boost out of the domain as possible.

I expect it will be rather painless to make back the $450 investment on this domain.

PageRank Squatting: A Side Effect of Cybersquatting

Today I was trying to goto BoingBoing to kill some time, and I typed in boingboing.COM and oops, I got a parking page. (I didn’t realize that BoingBoing is actually boingboing.NET)

But this was no ordinary parking page… This crappy-ass Network Solutions parking page had a PageRank 5! How often do you see THAT?

So I fired up my SEO back-links tool to see where the PR was coming from.

boingboing_linkz.PNG

Wow! This domain was getting some killer link juice from really powerful sites, simply because they mistakenly linked to the .COM TLD instead of the .NET

And that’s not all. I fired up Compete to check out the traffic to boingboing.COM and wow, this dude gets massive traffic!

bbcompete.PNG

My question is… Can the rightful boingboing.NET trademark their brand and file a complaint with WIPO to get their domain back?

Hidden Value of Keyword Match Domains!

The synergy between domains and SEO is most obvious in keyword match domains.

As of 2007, these are the only low hanging fruit left in the domain industry, and the great news is, traditionalist domainers have often overlooked these investments!

RESPECTKeyword match domains are powerful in the SEO world because they get a ton of r-e-s-p-e-c-t from search engines. In SEO, there is something called a “navigational query.” This is what the engineers call it when someone types in a word (usually a brand) to navigate directly to the brand’s website.

For instance, did you know that “google” is the top search query in the Yahoo search engine? A lot of people use Yahoo! as their homepage because it has a nice portal feel, but when they need to search for stuff, they type “google” into Yahoo and navigate to Google to perform the actual search.

So back to keyword match domains. When you type in a KW and a website with a KW matched domain exists, Google will think you are trying to navigate to that site. So, search engines automatically boost the search rankings for ALL keyword matched domains, whether it is a .COM, .NET, or .ORG.

Don’t believe me? Let’s look at some examples!

RumCakes.com belongs to bad-ass domainer Frank Schilling. He mentioned this in his speech at a domainer conference.

yin-cakes.PNG

So his site isn’t really that special. It’s just a tricked out parking page, with a bunch of PPC ads plastered on it. But look at this Google ranking!

rum-cakes-serps.PNG

Considering that there is no unique content, no link-building campign, this ranking is not bad for a site that contributes no unique content or value to the web. With a few man-hours and few hundred bucks in link building, RumCakes.com could easily snatch the #1 spot for [rum cakes].

A more outrageous example is MortgageCalculator.com. They have a great domain, but the site is really undeveloped.

mortgage-calc.PNG

Nevertheless with only 35 backlinks and only 1 crappy page indexed, they’ved scored #8 rankings for [mortgage calculator], one of the most competitive KWs in existence!

The great thing is, while pretty much every single KW-matched .COM in existence has been registered, .NET and .ORG domains have been overlooked in many niches. The reason is that traditional domainers get traffic from typos. No one ever makes a typo with the .NET or .ORG TLD, so a lot of domainers don’t bother with these extensions. In KW matched domaining, you get traffic from the SEO boost—not typos–and the SEO boost is equally strong for .COMs, .NETs, and .ORGs. Keyword matched domaining is definitely not as scalable as type-in domaining since it requires time to develop and build links, but in my experience the ROI is significantly greater than type-in domaining.

The take away message of keyword matched domains

  • Search engines give keyword-matched domains a huge SEO boost
  • SEO boost is equally great for .COMs, .ORGs, and .NETs.
  • .ORGs and .NETs are undervalued! Domainers frequently overlook them and they are currently the only low hanging fruit left.
  • Snatch up those [KW].NETs, [KW].ORGs, develop them with unique content, do SEO on them, and you will get a ton of traffic. Forget parking pages.

Importance of SEO Copywriting

SEO copywriting is an important part of the entire search engine optimization process. The content of your website is one of the most important things that the search engine spiders look at. The spiders are able to determine whether or not your content is related to a particular keyword, and they do so through the density and placement of the keywords in the content on each page. This content needs to be in the form of text on the website, not flash presentations or other graphic forms of delivery, because these are not items the spiders can read.

Quality SEO copywriting requires a special balance of writing skills as well as knowledge of keyword placement. Writing skills are important because anyone can string together a bunch of keywords, but it takes a writer to put them together in a way that will impress your site’s visitors. Just pleasing the search engines is not enough. When you get a visitor to your site, you need that visitor to stay long enough to make a purchase or learn more about your company.

Each page of your website that you wish to be recognized by the search engines needs SEO copywriting done for it. A good rule of thumb is that you need at least 250 words per page to be recognized as a legitimate, informative site. In this copy, place your keywords at well-spaced intervals, making sure that there is a keyword in the first sentence and in the last paragraph. One thing you want to avoid, however, is stuffing your content full of keywords. Even if they make sense, you will be penalized if you have too many key phrases in your content.

There are a couple of ways you can get around creating SEO copywriting if you do not have the writing skills or time necessary to do so. One is by hiring a copywriting expert. There are numerous places you can go online to do this, but you want to make sure you are getting a good writer. Ask for samples and find a writer whose native language is the language you want written. Many people on the Internet claim to be skilled writers but are not.

Another way to have your SEO copywriting taken care of for you is to hire an SEO consulting firm. The SEO consultants will have personnel who are skilled at creating quality, optimized content for their clients as part of their staff. This way you know the content you are receiving for your sites is not only well written, but also current with the rules for proper search engine placement.

Paid Links Bad, Paid Posts OK?

Everyone in the SEO world knows that Google and Matt Cutts look down on paid links.

But why is it OK to buy paid blog post reviews?

I buy paid blogposts off ReviewMe and PayPerPost all the time, but mainly just to get the backlinks. What makes blogposts different from paid links?

Matt Cutt’s comment

Just to chime in and expand on Adam’s comment: Google wants to do a good job of detecting paid links. Paid links that affect search engines (whether paid text links or a paid review) can cause a site to lose trust in Google.

First SnapNames Success Story - $2,061

I just scored my first dropped domain on SnapNames! A couple days ago, I saw that a hot keyword matched mortgage domain had dropped, and after 30 minutes of a bidding war, I scored the domain for $2,061.

My heart is racing, and although it hurts to know I just dumped $2k on something imaginary that I can never touch, I am sure that the ROI on this purchase is worth it. You gotta love those KW matched domains!

One thing that pisses me off about SnapNames is that they extend the auction by 5 minutes if you try to snipe. What’s up with that?!? It totally defeats the purpose of sniping. Greedy bastards.

Paid Text Links at Record Highs!

Question: Why is Google so anal about paid links?

Answers

  • It is a massive shortcoming in the PageRank algorithm.
  • Paid links work.
  • There is no sure-footed algorithm (yet) to detect paid links
  • The web-o-sphere is catching on. Webmasters curious about buying links are at an all-time high!

No wonder they hand-banned text-link-ads.com from the SERPs. Google is scared….

Ethical Search Engine Optimization

A business can better serve its employees if the business owner drafted his or her own ethical requirements. Ethics is categorized as some sets of rules that guide one to act in accordance to what is set to be the norms of the business or the society. The best thing in creating ethics in a business entity is the regulation of policies that are aimed to meeting the business’ mission and goals.

All business should have drafted their ethics list, which is expected and given already when establishing a business. Unlike with the physical business, ethical SEO ethics pertain to the specific rules and guidance that respect the rights of other SEO business owners including users. Moreover, ethical SEO means adhering to the norms of online community and respecting the profession of SEO itself.

Is there a need to write or draft the code of ethics you want? There is actually no need for that. However, the SEO community has established the SEO code of ethics for general reference. Ethical SEO means abiding the online community’s policies as a domain or a website owner. In this regard, SEO ethics pertains to a set of conducts accepted and respected in the online community.

Hence, an ethical SEO drives profit to his or her business without compromising the ethics of the business. It is more of applying the Golden Rule principle in SEO business with an aim to drive results. This also means that an SEO practitioner is using techniques that generates ROI to the business and maintaining that good feedbacks while ethically practicing the SEO way.

Who dictates ethics in the first place? With the many webs leading to another web, ethical SEO have identified clearly the stakeholders of his or her business. After knowing these stakeholders, the ethical SEO will conduct his or her business according to how a professional person acts based on the code of conduct for SEO. This includes less harm results and produce excellent results to the online community.

This way, the ethical SEO could contribute to the growing online business stakeholders’ population while catering to the need of the online community, particularly to the customers who are always ready to click the mouse and access your site.

Remember, an ethical SEO understand the real need of holding online business and is recognizing his responsibilities in the online community- his own limitations, strengths and knowledge for the improvement of his online services. Hence, is there a better way to conduct business minus the ethics? Definitely, there should be no place in the websites that offer such service and remain on top of the SEO lists.
